I believe that therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself.

My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where you feel heard, understood and respected. A space where you do not need to have all the answers before you arrive, and where you do not need to explain every detail of your experiences for them to make sense.

As someone who comes from multiple cultures, speaks multiple languages, and has lived in different parts of the world, I understand that life is often more complex than it appears on the surface. Many of the people I work with are navigating questions around identity, belonging, family, relationships, culture, grief, life transitions, or simply trying to find their place in the world.

I know what it feels like to fit in and not fit in at the same time. To feel connected to different places, people and communities, while also feeling disconnected from them. This lived experience informs my work, alongside my professional training and years of supporting people from diverse backgrounds.

Therapy is a collaborative process

I do not see therapy as a hierarchy where I tell you what to do.

I believe that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to help you better understand yourself, make sense of your experiences, and support you in moving towards the life you want to live.

I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion and respect. Together, we can explore what is happening in your life, identify patterns that may no longer be serving you, and find ways forward that feel meaningful and realistic for you.

I also recognise that every person is different. What works for one person may not work for another. For this reason, I tailor therapy to your individual needs, experiences and goals.

Drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches

I utilise a variety of evidence-based approaches depending on what is most helpful for you.

These include Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing, Harmonic Brain Healing, Mindfulness and Breathwork, Trauma Informed Care, and an Intersectional framework.

Rather than focusing on a single modality, I draw from these approaches thoughtfully and collaboratively. Together, we can determine what feels most comfortable and helpful for you.

Moving towards a life that feels more like your own

Many people come to therapy because something in life is not working as well as they would like.

My hope is that therapy becomes a space where you can better understand yourself, feel more comfortable in who you are, and move towards a life that feels more aligned with your values, relationships and goals.

Life will always have challenges. Therapy cannot remove every difficult experience. What it can do is help you navigate those challenges with greater self-understanding, self-compassion, confidence and connection.

Ultimately, my goal is to help you move beyond simply getting through life and towards living it with more contentment, meaning and joy.
